Episode 14: Two Things Can Be True with Kate McKenna

In this episode, Aliya has a candid conversation with Kate McKenna, award-winning television producer + mother of 2. They talk about:

  • if it's even possible to be "prepared" for motherhood

  • why women don't share the tough parts of motherhood and what happens when they do

  • the challenges of wanting to excel at work and at home

  • how intention is key when it comes to filling your own cup as a mother

  • the powerful impact that "mom friends" can have as we navigate motherhood

Kate mentioned the book Unfinished Business by Anne-Marie Slaughter.
